Summary

By a letter of appeal dated 1 May 1993, ex-students and colleagues of Professor Emeritus CM Tattam were invited to donate to an appeal to recognise his contribution to the University from 1945 to 1968. Professor Emeritus Tattam was an Associate Professor in the School of Geology and was appointed Head of the School of Geology in 1965. With the approval of Professor Tattam, the purpose of the appeal was to institute a 'CM Tattam Scholarship' for students progressing from B.Sc. (Hons) to M.Sc.
