The sum of $3,000 was presented to the University by Mrs. Mary W. Wilson, of "Roseneath", Lancefield, for the purpose of providing a prize in Veterinary Science to promote interest in diseases of beef cattle, to 'be called "The Mary W. Wilson Prize in Veterinary Science".
