Francis Armand Nyulasy, M.D. B.S., late of Melbourne, medical practitioner, bequeathed the sum of £1,000 to the University for the purpose of establishing a prize or scholarship in memory of his late brother, Arthur John Nyulasy. 'The Arthur Nyulasy Prize' is 'open to graduates in Medicine of the University' and is awarded annually to the candidate who, by either 'demonstrated knowledge and skill in surgery' or 'a thesis or other published research… has made a significant contribution to obstetrics and gynaecology.' The prize was made a University regulation in 1937.
