Summary

Pursuant to an appeal, the University of Melbourne received $53,250.00 for the purpose of establishing 'The MBBS Class of 1972 Medical Student Scholarship. Each scholarship is awarded to a student in financial need for the duration of their Doctor of Medicine degree and/or to a new student in either their 3rd or 4th year of the degree. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2018.
