'The Examination shall be open to all students who are eligible to compete for the Wyselaskie Scholarship in Political Economy.
The Examination shall be the Examination for the Wyselaskie Scholarship in Political Economy. If the Scholarship be awarded, the Medal shall be given to the Candidate who is placed second in order of merit; but if
the Scholarship be not awarded, the Medal shall be given to the Candidate who is placed first in order to merit.'
