Summary: By a memorandum of gift dated 19 March 218, Mr Richard A Hall donated $250,000 to the University for the purpose of establishing the 'John Hall Rowing Scholarship' in memory of his father. Each scholarship is awarded 'to students enrolled or enrolling at the University of Melbourne and rowing for the Melbourne University Boat Club'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2018.
