Summary

Pursuant to the will of Fay J Thomas, the University received $126.950.00 'to establish an annual scholarship known as the Fay Thomas Scholarship'. Each scholarship is 'to be awarded to a member of the staff of a Victorian State School, Primary or Secondary, who has not less than five years experience at a senior level, to study for a degree in the Faculty of Education'. The donor also requested that preference be given 'to candidates undertaking study or research in the fields of school leadership and management'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2017.
