In 2016 the University received a donation of $50,000 from an anonymous donor, establishing the Jubilee Scholarship. Each scholarship is awarded to 'third or fourth year Doctor of Medicine students at the University who are in financial need and with a preference for students who are allocated to the University's Western Clinical School or its successor'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2017.
