Summary

By a memorandum of gift dated 18 June 2015, The Hon. Justice Jonathan Beach and Ms Daria McGauran donated $200,000 to the University, establishing the 'Beach McGauran Scholarship'. Each scholarship is 'available to students enrolled in the Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne who has previously completed a tertiary degree in science or a technical field, including engineering'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2016.
