Summary

By a memorandum of gift dated 30 May 2014, Kristen Walker donated $10,000 to the University, establishing the 'John C Walker Scholarship' in memory of her father. 'Further donations in support of the Scholarship were received from John's colleagues and friends.' The scholarship is available to 'students in financial need who are commencing the Juris Doctor degree'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2015.
