By a memorandum of gift dated 28 May 2014, Belinda Anne Kendall-White, BA (Hons), MEd Melb, stated her intention to give the sum of $100,000 to the University by two instalments of $50,000 each, for the purpose of establishing 'The Suzanne and Geoffrey Dawson Scholarship'. Each scholarship is awarded 'to high achieving students who are enrolled in the course for the degree of Master of Teaching and are pursuing research in the field of education, the outcome of which is likely to enhance the advancement of social justice in educational settings and provide equality of access to improved facilitation of learning, in identified communities'. The scholarship fund was made a University regulation in 2014.
