Summary: In September 2012, The Bernard and Mary Euhus Charitable Trust gave the sum of $50,000 to the University, establishing 'The Faculty of Arts Excellence Scholarship Fund'. The fund supports 'The Faculty of Arts Excellence Scholarship', which is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students to support academic excellence, as recommended by 'The Faculty of Arts Excellence Scholarship Committee'. The Committee is comprised of the head of each of the schools within the faculty and the criteria for 'academic excellence' is determined each year by the dean of the faculty in consultation with faculty executive. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2013.
