Summary: On 22 September 2010, Chev Graham H Ryles OAM, KSJ, and Judith A Ryles MA, donated the sum of $20,000 to the University, establishing 'The Ursula Hoff Art History Scholarship Fund' in memory of the late Dr Ursula Hoff AO OBE PhD Hamburg, Hon DLitt Monash, (Hons) LLD Melb, (Hons) DLitt La Trobe, who died on 10 January 2005. The fund supports 'The Ursula Hoff Art History Scholarship' which is awarded 'to a student or students studying Art History, on the basis of academic merit and financial need' on the recommendation of the head of the art history program within the Faculty of Arts. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 2011.
