- Summary
In October 2008 Isobel Mina Robinson, retired nurse and midwife of Nagambie, Victoria, donated the sum of $100,000 to the University, plus an additional sum of $5,000. In so doing she established 'The Robinson Family Scholarship Fund' in memory of her family and their long connection with the Seymour district. The scholarship is awarded based on academic and financial need as determined by the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences Scholarships Committee. It is awarded to a student studying agriculture and with preference given to students from the Nagambie‐Seymour‐Yea‐Kilmore district or the Mitchell Shire and to those studying at the Dookie campus. The fund was made a University regulation in 2010.
