Summary: By her will dated 23 April 1999, the late Edith Stephenson Mather bequeathed six per cent of her residuary estate to the University, establishing 'The Noel Mather Memorial Fund' in memory of her late husband. The fund supports 'The Noel Mather Memorial Prize' and 'The Noel Mather Memorial Scholarship', which are awarded to students enrolled in mechanical engineering at the University. The fund was made a University regulation in 2010.
