Mr Clive Blazey of 'Heronswood', Dromana, Victoria and Mr Tim Herbert of Potts Point, New South Wales, donated to the University a total of $200,000 by 4 July 2002. The fund is to be used to establish a fellowship in memory of Peter Blazey, of Potts Point in New South Wales, writer and journalist, who died on 7 February 1997. The donors who are the brother and partner respectively of the deceased prescribed the terms of the fellowship. Peter Blazey graduated BA Melb. in political science in 1964. Other donors contributed a further sum of $3,250 to the fund.
