- Summary
Professor Emeritus Colin Ramm, former dean of the faculty of Science, and his family in 1998 donated to the University the sum of $25,000 to establish the Muriel Ramm Bursary in Science in memory of his late wife. In 1999 the donors gave a further $25,000 to augment the fund and in 2001 the donors gave a further $50,000. The donor intended the prize to be open to all graduate students studying Experimental Physics.
