Mrs Isabella Ina Oldham of Ringwood who died on 23 June 1999 bequeathed to the University the residue of her estate- 'for the director for the time being of Koori Students and Liaison Unit at The University of Melbourne . . . to be applied by him/her at his/her sole discretion to provide Aboriginal and Tones Strait islander students attending the said University post graduate scholarships.' The University received $133,891.59 in satisfaction of the bequest.
