- Summary
Lindsay Charles Gamble, late of Flat 2, 97 High Street, Berwick, in the State of Victoria, who died on 17 July 1996, bequeathed a one-seventh share of his residuary estate to the University of Melbourne. It was his wish that the money be used for agricultural research in and about the State of Victoria and that the bequest be acknowledged as a gift from himself and his late wife Alice Gamble. The sum of $177,897.70 and any accumulations and additions to the sum formed a fund called the "Lindsay and Alice Gamble Fund".
