From the estate of Mrs. Eileen Mary Harris, late of 4 Woodhouse Grove, Box Hill, the University has, to date, received the sum of $124,750 '… for the purpose of such post secondary education, research, extension and publication in agriculture as may be determined by my Trustees.'. Mrs. Harris' Will also included the '…wish that the information and knowledge arising from such research be made available to the general public'. Five further annual sums, each of $20,000, are to be paid to the University by 30 June in each year from 1995.
