The family of the late Anita Morawetz donated the sum of $150,000 to the University to establish a scholarship in her memory. The scholarship is open for award to individuals and to groups of individuals who are pursuing, or who are intending to pursue, research in Australia which, in the committee's opinion, will contribute to the clinical practice of family therapy. Anita Morawetz, who graduated from the University in 1962, worked as a social worker, first in Europe, and then in Israel for some years, after which she went to America where she took a postgraduate degree.
