Summary

Messrs. Bruno and Rino Grollo of the Grollo Group of Companies of Preston in the State of Victoria donated the sum of $80,000 to the University with the wish that the University establish a fund to be known as the 'Emma Grollo Memorial Scholarship' in memory of their late mother. The donors requested that the income from the fund be used to assist students of Italian language or literature of the University to pursue their studies in those fields at an Italian
University or other Italian institution approved by the Council.
