Jeanie Mary Jessie Adelaide Rodger, late of Railway Crescent, Williamstown in Victoria, who died on 5 March 1982, by her will dated 24 February 1982, bequeathed to the University the sum of $20,000 'for the purpose of establishing a fund to be called 'The Pearis Rodger Scholarship' to assist students outside the faculty of Music to continue their study in pianoforte within the faculty'.
