By her will dated 28 February 1930, Elizabeth Ross transferred her residuary real and personal estate to the University, with the University receiving approximately £12,000. This established 'The Thomas and Elizabeth Ross Scholarship or Scholarships' in memory of her parents Thomas and Elizabeth Ross. The scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in the degree of Doctor Medicine who is awarded the highest aggregate mark. The was made a University trust record in 2010.
