Summary

The Alice Barber Memorial Fund Committee presented £475 2s. 2d. to the University, establishing the 'Alice Barber Memorial Fund' in memory of Dr Alice Barber, a practitioner in the field of psychotherapy and a teacher in the University. The fund is used ' to assist graduates, whether by way of grants, scholarships, loans or otherwise and whether for study in Australia or elsewhere, who are qualified to train in Psychotherapy and who undertake to practise for at least five years in Australia' and 'to arrange lectures in Psychotherapy whether by overseas lecturers or otherwise'. The fund was made a University regulation in 1950.
