- Summary
Frank Pinkerton, late of Ballarat, Victoria, bequeathed £1,500 to the University for the purpose of establishing the 'Frank Pinkerton Scholarship'. Each scholarship is awarded to 'students enrolled in any degree offered through Melbourne Law School' who are 'studying a subject or subjects in the area of the law of real and personal property' or 'undertaking research in the law of real and personal property'. The scholarship was made a University regulation in 1945.
