- Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) is the largest child health research institute in Australia. The Institute specialises in discoveries that transform child health. - The original Murdoch Institute was established in 1986 by Professor David Danks after a generous donation by Dame Elisabeth Murdoch. - MCRI researchers work across the five key areas of infection and immunity; cell biology; clinical sciences; genetics and; population health.
